Hello! I'm Dr. Eva Brown Ph.D., a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of Florida. I specialize in working with individuals and couples in the areas of communication, emotional intimacy, sexuality & trauma recovery challenges. I have been in private practice for 12 years and have collaboratively established a 93% success rate helping couples recover from multi-generational trauma, infidelity, power struggles, trust, intimacy, sex, communication challenges and more.
My approach is solution focused, heart centered, research and trauma informed. Trauma work is actually a big part of the growth process for couples therapy/coaching because previous trauma often ends up becoming emotional triggers or "hot spots" later on in relationship. The key to cracking to code on trigger management is awareness. Then finding solutions to manage triggers without complaining, blaming or attacking comes next, which is a huge part communication growth.
I am also the first scholarly researcher to prove that multi-generational “family of origin” money patterns effect an entrepreneurs decision making process in business, which was a 3 year undertaking during my PhD studies. As you can imagine, this knowledge has helped my client's tremendously as money can often be a tricky subject for most couples to navigate.
Two years ago I joined forces with my husband, Paul, to take my community based private practice, worldwide. We support our Sacred Partners Healing & Growth Community Membership Program and host the Sacred Partners podcast together, on GooglePlay, Spotify and ITunes. We also love to support couples that are in business together!
